It is divided into two parts: pencil cap and pencil rod: the appearance decoration material of pencil cap is mainly polyester material, and the production process can be divided into molding, offset printing, assembly and other processes to complete it. Pencil rod appearance decoration materials mainly include nitro fiber pencil paint, printing ink, electrochemical aluminum foil, rubber head and aluminum hoop. The production process can be divided into pencil board, lead, pencil rod, finished decoration and other processes.

 

Pencil board processing The logs are dissected, cut, square sawed into wood blocks, and cut into pencil boards by a plate cutting machine after hydrothermal treatment. Plate length 184mm, width 73mm, thickness 4.8~5.2mm. By heating (60~120 ℃) drying and high temperature (130~200 ℃) denaturation treatment, so that the pencil board to soften easy to roll the degree.

 

Lead core processing graphite lead core is prepared with graphite and clay according to a certain proportion. After mixing with kneading machine and three-roller machine, lead core with a certain specification size (e.g. HB ~ 3H lead core diameter is 1.80~2.10mm) is extruded by core pressing machine. After heating (50~150 ℃) drying and high temperature (800~1100 ℃) roasting, it has certain mechanical strength and hardness, finally, it is made by oil immersion treatment. The color lead core is processed similarly to the graphite lead core, but does not require sintering. There are two processing methods: one is to mix clay, talcum powder, adhesive, pigment, grease and wax, etc. evenly, then form and dry them, which is called mixing method; The other is to mix porcelain clay, talcum powder, pigment and adhesive, etc. evenly and then extrude them into lead core or put the dried lead core in an oil core container, and make it fully absorb grease at a certain temperature, it is called oil immersion.

 

The pencil board is planed into a groove board with a thickness of 4.1~4.2mm and a core groove corresponding to the diameter of the lead, then the lead and the pencil board are glued together with glue, heated (50~120 ℃) and dried for 1~8 hours in a clamped state, and then processed into a white rod pencil with a length of 178~180mm by planer.

 

Appearance decoration processing The white-rod pencil is decorated with paint and printing, as well as processed by cutting light, printing trademarks, installing rubber heads, pen caps, etc., to make it a finished pencil with certain specifications, appearance colors and patterns.
